random thought from me, go figure...every time i look at that picture of tokyo tower...it was right outside yuka's dad's hospital window (it was his own hospital, so i guess they kinda hooked him up with the room on the 13th floor...)
that's it...kinda sad, but it's beautiful at night...on the whole i think i like tokyo tower more than i did before...

I say!!
you know, all the wierd shit rob sends is one of the things that made me want to have an archive of randomness...

A young woman takes a seat near 4 elderly English gentlemen. She soon notices they are engaged in an argument:
"I tell you, it's W-O-O-M."
"No, there's sort of a B sound at the end."
"Not just a B, it's a trill, like W-O-O-M-B-R."
"Don't be absurd, it's much shorter."
Scandalized, she approaches the gentleman and scolds them. "I can't believe you would be discussing such a thing in public. Shame on you. And it's W-O-M-B." Whereupon she stomps out.
The gentleman look at each other perplexedly and one says, "Do you think she's right?"
"Nonsense, where would a young woman like that hear an elephant fart?"
"I tell you, it's W-O-O-M."

so, apparently, we're not the only geniuses to think of this...
from urban dictionary: When somebody has a few drinks and suddenly think they know everything.
from the post : INTERNET giant Google is to make boozy emailers do sums - to help them avoid sending messages they later regret. It won't let them hit the send key unless they are sober enough to do an "easy" maths test.

tokyo tower bent, family fine
phones out, power out, our brother in law stranded downtown, waiting for a bus or for the trains to re-start...the camera shops (the equivalent of a best buy, but 8-10 stories high) are letting people recharge their phones, and drink machines giving out free drinks, is the rumor...can it be true? compare that to $10 batteries after a hurricane, or starbucks' overpricing of water at ground zero...wonder why so many people love this culture?
